Training Camp was just ok

This was the first time my family and I have attended one of these events so we were not sure what to really expect. It was OK, and we decided not to do it again. My husband and I took our son and daughter. We arrived early just as the gates opened and people were walking in. There were booths the kids got to play some games and win some little prizes (sunglasses, ear buds, more sun glasses). The stands filled up fast, so there was no place to sit and watch the practice. Standing room only was easily 6 people deep so we were unable to even see the field. We walked the kids around a little bit more but it was getting hot fast. Bottle waters were being sold for $4.25 and we were reaching 100 degrees out. I thought it was sad selling water for that much. Just sad. And they would not let us bring in our own bottle waters. We got in a spot to watch the players leave and try to get an autograph. A very small area and over crowded. People cramped in to a tiny area in an already scorching hot day just made it even more hot and miserable. But the kids really wanted to try for some autographs so we all toughed it out. Then it was all over. Only a couple of players came by, most just went in. Kids were extremely disappointed. Once back in the car with AC on full blast trying to cool off, asked them if they had fun. They said it was just OK. They would not want to go back; it was too hot and they didn't get to watch the practice.

My First NFL Game!

This was my first time attending an NFL game. I really enjoyed myself! It was also my boyfriend's first time also. The stadium was awesome as our view was good even though we were not too close to the field. I am currently looking at the schedule to see what's the next game we will attend. My only issue was not being the lucky one to get caught on the kiss cam! lol. When we first got there I went into the wrong door and didn't eve notice there were interviews going on with perspective players! I was so embarrassed when the guy stopped us, but he was very nice and showed us the correct entrance to take. Staff were nice and friendly. I can't wait til my next game!! GO TEXANS
